Jane Eyre

First, can I say that if you do a google search for Jane Eyre to get a picture for a blog post, this book has the ugliest covers available!!!

Oh, Jane Eyre. So good. I love this book. This is my third time to read it. My bro and sis in laws, Ben and Marsie, gave me a collection of Bronte for a Christmas a while back, and this was the first to be read or re-read from that collection.

What can I say about it? You should have already read it, people. So, I love the story, and I love the romance, and I love the style of writing. Read it!

And, don't judge the book by the ugly covers out there!

Hi there - I would like to second your opinion that this novel is "so good" - you are so right!! This is a superbly written book that is one of the best ever and always appears on any list of "Classics." I've read it twice and have since embarked on a long and deep study of Charlotte Bronte and her entire family - and truly, truth is stranger than fiction in their case. The biographies about the Bronte family are just as good as the novels written by Charlotte, Emily & Anne.

I love this novel, I read it in English and Italian. And I enjoyed the movies.

The time you start reading the first chapter its hard to put it down,Jane Eyre lives in every ones mind and heart, one of the best classics. The language is absolutely beautiful and soul stirring, the character of Helen Burns is so beautifully portrayed. Her untimely death brings tears to ones eyes. For me personally i feel she was the epitome of patience and her calm nature soothes the turbulent and restless mind of jane. A must read book to anyone who loves to read good books...A classic romance...
