Well, this final book in a trilogy by Robin Hobb was disappointing. The first book was great--I really loved it. The second was fuddled and slightly inappropriate for the average Mormon reader. So, I was hopeful to read this third one. The rating went back to a G, but the book was slightly boring and it just tuckered out at the end. What started as a great idea and story just lost its energy--it felt like Hobb lost interest in the story or just couldn't find something great to end with.
So, definitely read the first one--Shaman's Crossing. Then, if you love it, go ahead and read the other two. They're alright--just alright.
