This children's book is by the same author as Keeper of the Night, the one that Shaunna works for. I liked it. It was alright.
The book is written for youth, so it was very easy to read. It is about a middle-school aged girl who has parents that are mentally retarded. It was a decent read. I think that kids would like it a lot. If you're an adult and looking for something Louisiana Sky-esque to read that's a little older, try The Secret Life of Bees.
